Ocean Energy Europe Conference & Exhibition (OEE2023) will take place in The Hague, the Netherlands. Meet the OPEN-C Foundation team on our booth and during the session “Licence to deploy – Accelerating ocean energy permitting” with Marlène Kiersnowski, Director of SEENEOH test site.
OEE2023 will bring together ocean technology developers, decision-makers, supply chain actors and researchers from around the world to share the latest news from the world of ocean energy, and to define the future direction of the sector. Since the first edition in 2013, the annual Ocean Energy Europe Conference & Exhibition has grown to be the leading European event on ocean energy.
A stand where we can meet:
The OPEN-C Foundation will be present during the 2 days on booth n°30. This will be an opportunity to present the Foundation and its offshore test sites to European players following its creation last March. The OPEN-C Foundation coordinates, develops and manages offshore tests, particularly in the fields of floating wind turbines and ocean energies, such as tidal turbines, wave energy, hydrogen at sea and floating photovoltaics, making it France’s offshore testing centre.
Session “Licence to deploy – Accelerating ocean energy permitting”:
Wednesday 25/10/2023 – 11:00 am – 12:15 pm
Permitting is a key part of any ocean energy deployment. This session will explain the ins and outs of permitting processes in some of the key ocean energy countries – to help you navigate through the process in the smoothest and fastest way. The session will conclude with participants identifying the best practices and areas of improvement in permitting – to help you get your device in the water as fast as possible.
