The OPEN-C Foundation coordinates, develops and manages offshore tests for floating offshore wind, tidal power, wave energy, offshore hydrogen and floating photovoltaics, in France, thus becoming the sole operator of French offshore test centre
The OPEN-C Foundation brings together all offshore testing resources and infrastructures in France. As a non-profit public-interest organisation, created in 2023, it contributes to accelerate energy transition. Over the next 3 years, the OPEN-C Foundation will make several major innovations, including the testing of prototypes of new-generation floating wind turbines and support many innovative MRE projects.
