The liaison committee for the SEENEOH tidal turbine test site, an initiative of the OPEN-C Foundation, took place on May 15 in Bordeaux. A first for this site, which is one of the 5 OPEN-C Foundation sites.
The event provided an opportunity to bring together all the site’s partners (government departments, local authorities, academics, environmental associations, users, businesses and any other interested local stakeholders). The Foundation intends to organize this event at each of its sites.
SEENEOH sas, the original creator of the SEENEOH site, was able to review its history and formalize its transfer to the OPEN-C Foundation.
As for future projects, ORPC presented its project for a tidal turbine demonstration on the test site.
